New Class Bunny!

Hi Everyone,

I have just put a Class Bunny down the bottom of the blog in response to Phoebe M's comment. If you click more you can even feed it carrots. Does anyone own a bunny at home? How do you take care of it? Does anyone have any other pets at home?
I don't have any!

Also, if you have any suggestions for what we can call our new rabbit, leave a comment and we can vote on which one to use. I wonder how Bugs Bunny got his name?

Ruggerland

Olly told us about a cool website called Ruggerland. You might have seen Rugger on Small Blacks TV. He helps out the All Blacks. We looked at the website today and there are some cool maths games and other things that you can do if you sign up. A great lead up to the Rugby World Cup! Check it out!

Same But Different

Hi All,

We have a theme of 'Same But Different' that we are looking into during the year. We have been looking at what makes us the same but different in our class since the start of the year. We are also communicating with a buddy school in Canada at the moment to find out what different things they do to us. Check out this video that shows how we can do the same things in a different way to make a difference. Watch out though because it is an advertisement so sorry for the plug at the end.

Multiplication Video

We are learning about Multiplication and Division in Room 26. We found this funny video that we can relate to. We find multiplication really confusing sometimes. We are going to take time to practise the concepts at school and at home. We may bring home some cool games using calculators.

I went to Kelly Tarlton's and I saw a huge Shark and a frozen Squid!! Wade
I went hunting and we caught a pig but I didn't shoot it! Nick
